During a small shut down we split the large existing classroom in two with a new wall and windows. As a result, the small hand tool and basic teaching area is at the front, and the larger machines are screened by a wall at the back of the classroom. This design increases safety and reduces noise in the teaching area.
We also covered the floor with a recycled rubber flooring to reduce fatigue, and tool damage from falls and dropping. We also added an additional storage shed for materials.
